Tree Advice for the Legal Profession
Legal cases involving trees are on the increase.
Litigating subsidence claims, often involving trees owned by local authorities
or other institutions, cases of tree failure causing injury to people or damage
to property, and accidents related to tree climbing are the most common areas
of our work for the courts.
The effects of climate change and changing weather patterns, particularly storm
damage, or drought periods causing subsidence, seem likely to further augment
this caseload in the future.
JCA's track record in assisting with tree related legal cases including public
inquiries and appeals, is second to none. Our reputation in this area is built
on clearly argued, well presented and promptly delivered reports.
Where cases progress to trial we can offer authoritative and effective expert
witnesses.
We have worked with a wide range of law firms across the UK. Recent customers
include Badhams, Beachcroft Wansbroughs, Berrymans Lace Mawer, Berwin Leighton
Paisner, DLA, Eversheds, Irwin Mitchell, Langleys, Plexus Law, Thompsons, Vizards.
